Morion Digital Tech Park is one of the largest private tech parks in Russia. The tech park was set up on November 12, 2018, according to the decree of the Government of Perm Krai dated November 12, 2018, No. 287-rp. The managing company of the tech park is Morion Digital Limited Liability Company.

Based on the results of the year 2020, Morion Digital Tech Park ranked second in the rating that held on the annual basis by the Clusters and Tech Parks Association of Russia. Morion Digital has proven the highest level of efficiency of the tech park (over 110 %)

The total area of Morion Digital Tech Park is 86 thousand sq. m. The plans of the territory development include extending the total area of the tech park to 100,000 sq. m and development of the tech park’s common areas

The tech park includes the following innovative infrastructural facilities:

  • A centre for collective use in the area of development, production and testing of the Russian Energy Agency on the basis of Morion PJSC

  • Certification Centre

  • Prototyping Centre

  • Engineering Centre

  • Data Centre

  • Digital Hall – a conference hall with the area of 400 sq. m can accommodate not less than 350 people. Fully equipped: 4 LED panels, sound

  • Exhibition hall, demonstration sites

  • Coworking space for 60 workplaces; the coworking space incorporates 7 smart-offices, a conference room, a mini-hall, a complex of services for small and medium businesses

The tech park represented by its managing company offers a broad range of services for the businesses, such as legal support, PR, HR, etc.

The tech park also includes a business incubator, created on the basis of the coworking together with the acceleration program “The Big Reconnaissance” and a centre of youth innovative creativity, implemented as a program for the development of youth high-tech entrepreneurship (StartUp KIT program).

The actual amount of investments into the creation and (or) development of the tech park from its organization has amounted to RUB 402,194.81 thousand. Until the end of 2023, it is planned to invest another RUB 300,000 rubles into the tech park development. These investments will be directed into the overhaul of the buildings and premises of the tech park, allowing to create additional reserves of modern areas for the residents and setting up new additional service functions. The described efforts will allow to improve the tech park’s efficiency.

The residents and core tenants of the tech park include over 40 companies ranging from startups to high tech corporations working in the areas from modern communication systems and internet of things to robotics and artificial intelligence. Out of this number the core residents are: ER-Telecom Holding JSC (a leading independent operator of telecommunication services in Russia), MORION PJSC (a leading Russian enterprise on the development, production and maintenance of telecommunication equipment for special communication networks, public communication networks, dedicated and technological networks), Promobot LLC (the largest producer of autonomous service robots in Europe), NapaLabs LLC (a developer of software and hardware suites for telecommunication operators), Satellite LLC (the developer of Macroscop video-surveillance software).

The key focus of Morion Digital Tech Park is the creation of high-tech entrepreneurship for the companies, developers, entrepreneurs, creating products and technologies for the future. Key goal: to assist businesses within the ecosystem to grow faster, ensuring the availability of all the necessary resources – HR, financial, informational, and intellectual.

The total annual revenue of the tech park residents as at the end of 2020 amounted to RUB 48,109.82, the average headcount of the resident’s employees is 4,858 people. The annual growth of the residents’ revenue is up to 20%; the increase of the average headcount – by 10-15%.
